We would recommend going with a short shaft for the Lite Skiff. The XS will work but there is a slight cavitation.

They make the Navy 3.0 which is a 6HP equivalent however, this will bump you up into a different class range than the Spirit. You will need a larger battery that sits in the boat and the cost will go up as well.
